Nothing Phone 1 Detailed Descriptions:
Design.
The design is surely one of the biggest highlights of the Nothing Phone 1. The smartphone packs a transparent design just like its ear 1 with LED lights that alert users when there’s a new notification or call, and even, show the battery charge status. The transparent design doesn’t mean that the internals are visible. Instead, the rear panel is designed in a way that looks a lot like the internals of the device are visible. The design is surely something that we haven’t seen on any phone before not the iPhone, nor the Samsung.
Display.
The Nothing phone (1) features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. You caught a small glimpse of the phone (1)’s display when compared to the likes of Google’s Pixel 6, Find X5 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S22, but thanks to the 120Hz you have an almost similar display.
Camera.
Tipster Yogesh Brar first confirmed that the 50MP main snapper comes with a 16MP ultra-wide, along with a 16MP selfie shooter on the front. Here at Phones and Tablets, we trust that these will produce good pictures because Nothing made a good choice of a Sony sensor, the sensor’s size and the rumored f/1.8 aperture, this has the capability to be a good camera.
Performance & Software
The phone will use the Qualcomm SM7325-AE Snapdragon 778G+ 5G (6 nm) chipset, dashing hopes that it would use the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the more recent Snapdragon 7 Gen. We have no clue why Nothing went for a slower chipset compared to the recent phones but we believe it is best for performance, power consumption, and cost. The company recently rolled out the Nothing launcher beta version that looks quite clean, much like iOS and also, to some extent, OxygenOS. So the phone runs on Android 12 based on Nothing OS.
