The Hisense 50 Inch Ultra 4K TV has 3840 by 2160 4k Ultra HD panel and this is a 50-inch TV. It features all the stuff in a high-end panel like support for Netflix, Pandora and YouTube. It also features an ultra smooth motion rate and dual band Wi-Fi and HDMI 2.0. They are bringing the budget 4k TV to the masses with the Hisense series.
From the box are two plastic stands that go on the bottom of the TV if you don’t want to wall mount it. Then you get a packet that is full of stuff. The first thing you going to see is the four year, the Quick Start Guide and you also get some safety information. Also is the remote and you also get some batteries for that remote. For conection to the power you do get the power cord. Fixing the stands is very simple and all you need to do is just have a screwdriver and repeat the on both sides. Hisense 50 Inch Ultra 4K TV is actually extremely light so if you’re going to set it up with just one person it’s absolutely no problem. If you want a wall mount this to you should be able to do it by yourself.
For a TV in this price range, the design is fairly simple but it’s definitely effective. The bezels are pretty thin on the sides. Hisense 50 Inch Ultra 4K TV is quite attractive. You are going to get a very simplistic design with a Hisense logo on the bottom.
At the back of the TV are plenty of ports. It has the Ethernet port, 2 HDMI that support HDMI 2.0, meaning you should be able to plug in all of your new 4k peripherals to and then you also have your digital audio output. There is the AV in and you also have a component in if you still use that.
On the side you’re going to see your antenna cable. Also from here are two USB to ports, an audio in and out, 2 more HDMI that supports MHL and a RC and a USB. At the bottom corner you’re going to find some button controls.
Hisense 50 Inch Ultra 4K TV has two speakers on the back and they actually sound much better. Its sound is just great.
On the setup process like first thing you’re greeted with is a logo then you see the Smart TV designation. Because you may not have a set-top box to enjoy Netflix or Amazon you just go ahead and accept the terms. What’s cool about this TV usage mode is that on home mode you’re going to see it dim – the adjustment of the ambient light in the room because there’s an ambient light sensor built-in to the left hand corner.
It does have a Ethernet available but to hook it up to dual-band Wi-Fi is just a lot more convenient. The user interface is extremely simple and you can jump from your live TV to your other inputs. Under the call video on-demand, this is where you will find the Netflix, YouTube, Dailymotion, Vudu and all of that other stuff.
If you have your external hard drives you can plug that in to get to your media right to the TV. Hisense 50 Inch Ultra 4K TV also comes with a bunch of other apps like your social apps. It also got a little game center, a TV browser but there is no real App Store. But there is a list of all apps that you can use well. There is an Opera App Store which is web-based.
It has aspect ratio changes and contrast color and going into the advanced picture settings you will see the ultra smooth motion. When you put that on high it goes all the way up to 480, but natively if you turn that off it’s a 120 Hertz which should be plenty for gaming.
It has a lot of settings. It noise reduction, adaptive contrast, color temperature, white balance changes, parenting controls and CEC and the MHL controls. This are nice for other peripherals like the chromecast.
If you’re a gamer, having PS4 runs absolutely perfectly. If you’re worried about the refresh rate when it comes to games then don’t worry about that. There is a designated game mode that kind of bumps up the refresh rate and things like that but this is all off this is totally native at 120 and it’s playing these video games absolutely fine.
