The logo at the bottom now sports a translucent background which helps clean up the look. Also new is an anti-reflective coating on the panel surface to try and minimize glare.

Color luminance levels are balanced enough so that colors still look good as the brightness of those colors drops. There is no flickering effect on LG. This mainly noticeable on 24 frames per second content.
