Description

The Nokia 7 Plus is the device everyone has been waiting for. Almost all the expectations have been fulfilled especially with the one being an almost flagship phone with the price. Its design is amazing but abit too tall. The fingerprint reader is a little bit too high for some and opening the screen may take quite some time. It has a copper frame which is very nicely. The Nokia 7 Plus feels and looks so great, having the buttons placed much perfectly and easy to reach. Its back is very light soft touch coding which makes this phone so incredibly grippy whether its cold or warm. It doesn’t really track many fingerprints.

On the top of Nokia 7 Plus is the headphone jack and then a SIM card and SD card tray on the lesft siude. USB type-c , the speaker and microphone on the bottom. There is a little bit of a curve on the front with a very nice transition towards the sides. There is a notification LED and front camera on top of the screen quite noticeable. The quality of Nokia 7 Plus and the appearance is absolutely great.

The display is also nice with 6 inches and the viewing angles are okay. It’s bright enough with colors being fine but no customization since it’s an Android one device. You don’t have any options to kind of tweak the calibration.

For the speaker, it tries to boost the bass a little bit and seem very rich which it kind of does. But then it also has a little bit of distortions and it just not super loud. One thing it’s still good enough.

The greatest thing is the Snapdragon 616 processor. Nokia 7 Plus is the second phone to actually use with this chip. It is great to see this chip in this device because it makes it super smooth and the scrolling is very consistent. Multitasking works also great with no lags.

It got a 3800 mAh battery and could give you around be eight hours on mobile data.

On the software, the Nokia 7 Plus has an Android one.

The Nokia App on the camear is the one we have known from the past. The Pro Mode gives access to all of other manual functions. Its autofocus works absolutely great. The super fast shutter times are also good. It has HDR which provides best bands nice sharp pictures. Selfies also are very close to the best ones.

The videos provide an audio which is really good. Its microphone seems to provide really nice full high quality sound. The autofocus works well and provides sharp and very nice quality videos. Front-facing camera is absolutely convincing nice and sharp with great contrast. The only thing is a bother is that the crop is very heavy. You may need to completely stretch out the arm that you get the whole face in it. It’s just too close. In low-light obviously it’s the greatest in terms of quality but gets noisier.

All in all the build quality of Nokia 7 Plus is absolutely top notch. The display is on a very good level definitely better ones are available yes but not at this price. This is almost in flagship territory and in normal daily use you won’t really bother about that because there for you a very efficient SOC actually the 845 is efficient. The big battery has an amazing battery life. It comes with a clean software without any bloat. The camera is now improved in terms of usability.
