The Oppo A71 comes with a 3GB of RAM with a more updated processor. From the box content it got an Octa-Core Snapdragon Qualcomm 450 processor and AI beauty technology.
It has a 3000 mAh battery and a 13 megapixel rear camera. Out of the box is the Oppo is A71 itself, SIM ejector tool and some manuals. It also has basic earphone which is a good thing since many manufactures skip the earphones nowadays. It comes with a standard USB cable and a 2 pin charging adapter with a rating of 1.5 amperes.
For the design and build quality you get that Oppo A71 is a compact smartphone which has a 5.2 inch HD display.
The front you get a 5 megapixel camera along with an earpiece at the top of screen. It got the usual Android touch buttons below the screen, a multitasking button, home button and the back button.
On the back side you get a 13 megapixel camera along with LED flash and Oppo branding. The right side you get a power button along with a SIM card tray. On the top you have a 3.5 mm audio jack on the left you get the volume rocker and a micro USB port along with each speaker outlet is present on the bottom side.
In terms of feel this phone feels very light. It has a metal feel on the back. This is not a metal construction though poly-carbonate body. Overall the phone feels light in weight and feels nice in hand.
The viewing angles are nice on the display with a brightness that you can probably do most of the tasks without any issues.
The company has opted for a Snapdragon processor on this device unlike the previous devices which came with Mediatek MT6752. Oppo A71 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and Audreno 506 GPU unit. Out of the 2GB RAM, 1.7 GB is available. You get 7.6 GB out of 16 GB of memory due to pre-loaded applications. It has a number of sensors; gyroscope,gravity sensor, accelerometer, light sensor, linear acceleration meter sensor, step counter.
Oppo A71 has no issue on multitasking or even running games like Asphalt 8. If you need an Oppo device just for gaming this is the one to get.
It comes with the company’s own color and some pre-loaded applications and a custom UI from the company as well. For example if you swipe up you can access the control center and if you just swipe down then you have the phone manager some other applications. It got tools like backup and restore then some Google applications. Amazon shopping and Facebook apps were also pre-loaded. There is no much bloat on the phone as it comes with very few app.
The main feature of this device is the the camera. Oppo devices are known for their legendary cameras. It has a 13 megapixel back shooter and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. The back camera supports beauty, panorama expert which is a pro mode. The front camera also has the blur effect option available so you can capture selfies with the bouquet effects. Selfies captured are always nice. The back camera captures decent leveled details.
