Description

The Sony Xperia X is a mid-range to high-end handset for 2016. The phone itself is not that cheap, on the release it cost about 700 euros. It definitely looks quite interesting and it got a new box design. To get the device out of the box you have to cut the seals and pull up the covering top box. You will notice that the Sony Xperia X has a more conservative color. This comes in 5 inches. Actually it is a kind of pocketable and more portable possibly than the Xperia Z family.

The phone feels nice and well built. Its box is also quite interesting compared to how Sony usually has it. Out from the box you will get your standard books and stuff. There is a charging plug and a charging cable but no earphones. This is very cheap and miserable. If you would like some high-res earphones the new phone do support that. Nevertheless most smartphone manufacturers are struggling so they have to meet at the end of the day.

Peeling off the plastic at the back gives you a uniform back. It is very nice, conservative and business light. We don’t get any flash from Sony for this device. It got a shiny area below the screen like that which is found on the Xperia Z5. The phone is much more of the Xperia M5 in terms of the actual dimensions though the Sony Xperia X is a little bit more gray and got a little bit of plastic.

The Sony Xperia X has a port at the bottom sticking to the traditional charging. Headphone jack and a microphone are at the top and the SIM and expandability ports at the left. The phone supports up to 2 terabytes of memory. Power and volume buttons as well as the camera shutter button are on the right hand side of the Sony Xperia X. Generally the phone is very conservative and sleek. It feels nice feel in the hand, it’s light and thin as you need it to be. Sony needs to improve its accessories because these aren’t cheap phones.

Booting up the device you get all the normal set up process. Much of the activities involves the Google and Xperia services which can be opted to be skipped. Its keyboard feels quite nice. The front facing speakers are just below the display screen. Sony Xperia X has a kind of a new interface with nice circular design. The phone doesn’t have any of annoying lag that we got with the Xperia Z5.

For the Sony Xperia X, we are winning at Snapdragon 650, 3 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of internal storage. The fluidity when navigating throught the phone is enjoyable and it feels of being in a flagship level. It got a Cortex A72 architecture. The Sony Xperia X comes with nice and snappy new icons for the messaging. Sony also made an effort here with the interface making it look different.

The Sony Xperia X got a 23 megapixel camera with predictive autofocus. This means that if you take a shot of someone it should predict where they’re going to go and then focus on them quite quick. We also do get alot of features from the camera as we would expect. The speed of the camera is fantastic and takes images a lot faster. Sony finally got it right! Images takes go into the gallery app straight without any lag.

Sony Xperia X also comes in some nice themes so you put up different things on here. There are also lots of wallpapers. It’s a pricey phone but what you are getting at the end of the day is like flagship level kind of features.
