The Tecno Phantom 8 was launched in October 2017 and comes in different colors: Champagne Gold, Phantom Black and Galaxy Blue.
The Tecno Phantom 8 has a 5.7 FHD IPS inch display with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and a ppi of 403. The dual SIM slots have 4G/LTE capability.
The Tecno Phantom 8 has a massive 64GB memory that is accompanied by another surprisingly enormous external SD card slot that can accomodate upto 2TB storage.
The Tecno Phantom 8 runs HiOS 3.0 which is the latest Tecno Software skin that is out there running on top of the Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System.
The Tecno Phantom 8 is powered by an octa-core 2.6GHz Mediatek Helio processor plus a whopping 6GB RAM which is bigger than most laptops. Phone companies are definitely pushing up the RAM limits on phones. The phone manages to multitask smoothly with this power.
The back camera is a dual camera set up which is becoming more and more commonplace in most flagship devices. The dual set up has a 12MP and 13MP shooters working side by side plus a single LED flash. There is a 20MP camera on the front with smart dual LED Flash.
Looking at how Tecno really pushed up the specifications on the Tecno Phantom 6, it was expected that the battery would also be pushed up. However, the company settled for a 3500mAh battery instead. Though lower than expected, the battery does quite well managing to power the phone for at least a day with normal use.
